Partnerships Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the Managing Director to prospect, solicit and close partnership sales. Daily activity includes: cold calling, off-site and on-site sales presentations, and follow up calls to prospective clients.
  • Draft, manage, route, and finalize all sponsorship agreements once sold.
  • Work with Managing Director to develop customized proposals and sales presentations for new partnership prospects.
  • Manage Pride Partners program and ensure all Partners receive all contracted benefits.
  • Provide monthly reports and updates on progress.
  • Renew and grow existing corporate sponsorship through continued outstanding service and upselling of additional sponsorship assets into current partnership agreements.
  • Develop unique stewardship programs for each corporate sponsor, designed to meet the sponsor’s specific needs.
  • Design a new report format to communicate sponsorship impact and return on investment at the conclusion of every partnership.
  • Serve as the central figure once partnerships are sold and work with the event teams to ensure all sponsorship deliverables are achieved.  
  • Ensure all sponsors are invoiced and sponsor payments are paid in a timely manner.  
  • Advise event teams on in-kind partnerships (transportation, food, or other in-kind donations) primarily through sponsorship proposal and agreement review.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate multiple teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in account management, cause marketing, fundraising, sales, or client services.
  • Proven ability to motivate, inspire, and lead.
  • Extensive knowledge of the LGBTQIA+ and non-profit communities.
  • Demonstrated professional sales presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively/accurately with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives.
  • Highly proactive and autonomous, with ability to meet simultaneous/synchronous deadlines and balancing competing priorities.
